Flagship Initiative: Migrant Worker Health
Protecting Migrant Workers in a Warming World

Nepali Migrant Workers often face extreme heat, dehydration, limited rest, poor sanitation, and physically demanding work. These risks can contribute to heat illness, kidney injury, chronic disease, and devastating consequences for workers and their families.

GHAR’s flagship initiative uses culturally relevant education, music, storytelling, research, policy advocacy, and action to help workers understand risk, protect their health, and return home safely.
