Introduction GHAR
About GHAR
Global Health Advocacy and Research, or GHAR, works at the intersection of public health, climate change, migration, occupational health, and health equity. We combine advocacy, research, awareness, and action to address preventable health risks affecting vulnerable communities.

GHAR Message
GHAR is a global health advocacy and research organization focused on protecting vulnerable communities from preventable health harms. Our work is built on four pillars: Advocacy, Research, Awareness, and Action. Our current flagship initiative focuses on protecting Nepali Migrant Workers from heat-related illness, kidney disease, and unsafe occupational exposures in a warming world. This is GHAR’s first major body of work, but GHAR’s mission is broader: to address urgent global health issues affecting vulnerable populations

Our Mission
To protect vulnerable communities from preventable health harms through advocacy, research, awareness, and action.
Our Vision
A world where health protection reaches the people most at risk, regardless of geography, income, occupation, literacy, migration status, or access to care.
